Lee Stewart on the Smart Money program on Sky News hosted by Jon Dee

Director at Ndevr Environmental, Lee Stewart, has left after 18 months leading the Sydney team of the specialist carbon and energy consultancy.

He’s made the leap across the ditch to New Zealand (a proposition that gets more enticing every day as the NZ prime minister Jacinda Ardern leaves other global leaders in her wake) taking a cache of serious sustainability experience and commitment with him.

In NZ he will head up the sustainability team at multinational dairy co-operative Fonterra.

悦博体育赌场Back in Oz Mr Stewart was one of 300 people in the region to benefit from the training former US vice president Al Gore imparted in 2011. He delivered more than 100 presentations on climate change based on the training and June 2019 helped Al Gore train another 800 new presenters.

He was also a board member of Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity, which has been active in recent years in swaying government thinking on the issue, and all this while also working for Fujitsu Australia for seven years, five years as head of sustainability for the Oceania region.

Frasers Property

After a five-year stint as head of Frasers Property Australia, Rod Fehring will step down as chief executive officer in October.

His replacement, the company’s chief financial officer Anthony Boyd, has worked his way up to the top job after starting at the company back in 2005.

Described by the as a “blunt speaker on everything from housing affordability to climate change”, Mr Fehring has overseen some pioneering projects on the sustainability front such as One Central Park that has placed the company squarely at or near the centre of the sustainable property map.

ACT government

Experienced urban designer and landscape architect Dennis Eiszele has snapped up a public sector role at the ACT government’s City Renewal Authority.

悦博体育赌场Mr Eiszele will bring 25 years’ experience at national and international design practices and infrastructure-based companies ss director design and place strategy at the agency.

悦博体育赌场He’s worked at engineering and infrastructure firms such as Jacobs and SMEC, and been an equity principal at HASSELL.

The City Design Authority is dedicated to design-led, people-focused urban renewal in Canberra.

GPT Group

GPT Group has appointed Robert Whitfield to its board. He is currently a non-executive director of Commonwealth Bank and a director of NSW Treasury Corporation, having previously been its chairman.

Sound experience

Umow Lai has hired a new senior ICT consultant. Simon Austin has almost nearly 30 years’ experience as an audio engineer, sound and visual system designer and technologist, including as a technical consultant at Schuler Shook, a design firm that specialises in theatre planning and architectural lighting design.
